Geometric Neons

I’ve always been a fan of using geometrical shapes in my nail art. Fortunately, its in season this spring/summer! I’ve recently seen a lot of people doing outlines of the nail and adding lines within to create a pattern. I decided to try those out for myself.

These nails are colourful, a little edgy and really fun! The polishes I used for this look are from China Glaze and are from the City Flourish and Surprise collections. Polishes I used are listen below:

Glimmer More
Don’t Honk Your Thorn
Grass Is Lime Greener
Thistle Do Nicely

On the third and fourth finger, I did put on a white base before I used the dry brush technique with the other colours so that they would pop more. After that, I used a black stripper polish to draw the lines. I wanted to keep the other nails simple so as not to compete with the nail design, so I did a simple glitter gradient. The glitter in Glimmer More complemented the colours nicely.

I think this is a really cute summertime mani that one would spot wearing to pool parties or the beach. This design can be easily altered colour wise to be suited for any occasion.

Let me know what you guys think! 🙂
