Spring-summer time is here, and that means neons and tribals are back in trend! Yes, we’ve all seen pictures of Coachella, EDC and other festivals and envied their hipster styles (or is it just me?). So I’ve come up with a design that has the best of both worlds, using neons in a simple tribal pattern.
To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t expecting these to turn out as cool as they look. I actually really like this design. 🙂 I first painted on the nude before sponging on the neon gradient, then I added the lines to pull the whole look together. I used tape in order to achieve the triangle in the middle. On the fourth finger I did a reversed ombre and added some black triangles as the accent.
The colours I used were What A Pansy, Grass Is Lime Green, and Don’t Honk Your Thorn, all from China Glaze. These lovelies are part of the City Flourish collection China Glaze released for Spring 2014.
